Week 7 Results

To me, it looks obvious that my teeth have shifted. I especially like how my front tooth has come forward. Basically the small rooted teeth have shifted more quickly than the larger teeth like my premolars. Really happy with how they look. I can’t wait for my teeth to continue to shift and improve. I wish I had done this years ago. It has certainly caused me to smile a whole lot more.

Week 6 Results

I see some changes! Bottom teeth are getting in line nicely. My upper incisor is continually getting better but it needs a little room available before it will really move back. The front tooth has moved forward quite a bit too. Although it still juts outward, that incisor has shifted in other ways and has rotated slightly, which I didn’t realize it needed to do. I also have an upper canine that had grown longer than the other one because it didn’t have a tooth on the bottom it lined up with and wasn’t getting any resistance. It is a tooth that receives a lot of pressure with the myobrace and has been getting pushed back upward where it belongs. I have had no discomfort at night and have diligently worn the myobrace both at night and for an hour at least during the day.

Week 5 Results

Finishing up week 5 and still a little worried that the results are not dramatic enough. I can definitely see a difference, however, in how my teeth look. Since I’ve never had traditional braces, I don’t have that experience to compare it to. I have heard that results are much more noticeable when you get to the 2 month mark. I have noticed recently that the lateral incisor (which didn’t protrude) has come into complete alignment with the front tooth next to it. I didn’t even realize it needed to shift but now that it has, it looks much better. Flossing has also become a bit easier. I have always had trouble flossing even with glide brand floss. Below I’ve marked the teeth that have shifted the most. Top row is first week and bottom pic is after 5 weeks.

Week 4 Results

Week four done! One full month of wearing the Myobrace. Honestly, I expected a little more drastic results, but I have to keep reminding myself that it has only been a month and this is an 18-24 month process, possibly longer. Smiling more than ever and feeling much less self-conscious these days. Top images are of the first week, bottom images are current.

Week 3 Results

I didn’t notice an incredible difference this week, just ever so slight shifting. I used the device every night for 7-8 hours and during the day for 1-2 hours. In the morning I do feel some soreness on the teeth that have had pressure applied to them, so I know there is some progress happening whether I can see a difference or not. Top picture is of the first day, bottom is after three weeks.
